Register for USMS
The annual USMS registration provides insurance as well as the national
magazine. All RRM swimmers must join USMS.
Online Registration
Back to RRM Home Page
To register online, go
to:
http://www.usms.org/reg/?LMSCID=24 and click on the secure
registration site link. (Alternatively, you can go directly to
https://www.clubassistant.com/club/USMS.cfm?l=24 for the Southern Masters
Swimming registration).
If you HAVE registered with USMS previously,
enter your name and other identifying information as prompted.
You may be asked to identify your USMS Club. In that case, select
the "Select new club" link. If the map of the United States pops
up, select the "SO" section on the map where Louisiana and Mississippi
are located. The appropriate club is "Southern Masters Swimming"
or "SMS." In the box requesting a "Workout Group" scroll down and
select "Red River Masters (RRM)" from the drop down list.
If you HAVE NOT registered with USMS previously:
When
prompted for the USMS Club Abbreviation, click the "Yes" radio button and enter
"SMS" in the box to the right.
When prompted for your pejrsonal identifying
information, provide the requisite information. In the box requesting a
"Workout Group" scroll down and select "Red River Masters (RRM)" from the drop
down list.
If you are planning to compete, it is a good idea to request a
copy of your registration card. At the end, an electronic copy of your card
will also be displayed and it is a good idea to save that on your
computer and/or print out a hard copy.
For both registrations, you will then be prompted to agree with
the USMS liability waiver. Then you will be asked for your credit card payment
information. The cost for SMS registration is $40 annually. Once you complete
the transaction, you should be sent an email confirmation.
Hard Copy Registration
If you
prefer to complete a hard copy registration form, you can print one out OR you can
get one at the pool from the coach. We can mail it for you if you bring a check
for $40 payable to "Southern Masters Swimming."
